I want to be able to capture your personality and love story! I love including special elements in each of my paintings that are unique and meaningful to you. So how can I make this painting special for you?

I am outgoing and love being able to interact and talk to guests. Live painting with an audience creates a one of a kind experience. Before the end of the night, I will have the painting finished and reveal it to you and your guests.

The process…

  1. Early Arrival: I arrive 30-45 minutes before your ceremony to begin capturing the beautiful background of your venue, setting the stage for your special day.

  2. Capturing Your Story: As your ceremony unfolds, I paint live, capturing the emotions, laughter, and love in real time. This immersive experience allows your guests to witness the art come to life!

  3. Guest Engagement: I love interacting with your guests while I paint, sharing in the joy of your celebration. It adds a unique, personal touch to the experience, making it memorable for everyone.

  4. The Big Reveal: Throughout the night, I will be painting through heartfelt speeches to joyful dances. Then at the end your beautiful painting will be revealed to you! A lot of my couples love being surprised! <3

  5. Ready to Take Home: Before the night ends, I varnish your painting, sealing in the vibrant colors. You'll leave your celebration with a stunning artwork that holds all of the emotions of your special day!

 FAQs

  • Yes! I will have your painting finished and varnished at the end of the night to take home with you. If I am not able to finish the painting due to unforeseen circumstances or feel as if I need to spend more time on the painting, I will take it back to my studio and finish it there and have it shipped to you!

  • The painting needs to lie flat for at least 1 hour after I varnish it. Avoid touching for 6-8 hours or the rest of the night to play it safe. I will coordinate with you or your planner on who I should entrust your painting with at the end of the night so it gets safely to where it needs to be for you! The painting will be protected with a beautiful varnish that gives an oil painting look to it. It would need a light dusting from time to time but the colors will stay vibrant for years to come! I would avoid hanging it in direct sunlight.

  • I use Liquitex Acrylic Paints and the canvases I use are made with archival-quality natural cotton. They are heavy duty canvases that are gesso primed with a medium/rough texture surface that is perfect for use with acrylic and oil paints. The frame is professionally constructed, with medium-weight cotton duck stretched around 3/4" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and 1.5" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline.

  • Yes! I love incorporating your color scheme into the painting to ensure you love it and want to hang it up in your home! For instance, if you would like a more golden warm look versus a cooler look. Or if you would like a more muted look versus a brighter look. While I can change colors, my style does not change so I always encourage my couples to look through my portfolio and familiarize themselves with my style, so you know what to expect.

  • 1. Do you have a certain background and pose you would like? (ex altar, first dance, dip kiss, ceremony space)

    2. Do you have a preference on horizontal or vertical composition? (or you can leave it up to me and I will choose the best orientation:)

    3. Do you want to be surprised by your painting at the end of the wedding? Some couples want to be completely surprised by their painting at the end so they avoid peaking at it throughout the night. Guests will be able to see the painting progress either way! :)

    4. Do you have a specific dress code (for instance all black, cocktail, formal, gown, business casual, beach, summer, spring, winter etc). I will never wear anything that is white or if you have other colors you’d prefer me not to wear ;)

    5. Photos of you both for reference to help with details

    6. Who should I give the painting to at the end? It needs to lie flat for at least 2 hours afterwards. Avoid touching for 6-8 hours.

    7. What is the starting time and contact of day-of coordinator or wedding planner you would like me to be in touch with? I will get there an hour-45 minutes before the wedding begins. 

    8. And lastly a little bit about your story and anything else you might want me to know :) I love to hear about how couples met and a little bit about you!
